They dreamt of having a destination wedding and initially they were looking overseas. But as soon as Hayley found the Whitsundays she knew this was the destination she had been dreaming of.

Kacey and Aaron met 7 years ago in Airlie Beach, they came for an event at Magnums with their mutual friends, their best friends were dating at the time. Aaron & Kacey were pretty much inseparable from that moment on, although they wouldn’t admit that they liked each other.
Mr & Mrs Pownall met each other while working at the same place of work. She was super shy and Sean was just super rude really – although if he was writing this it would be the other way around! They worked together fighting crime in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs for 2 years before going on their first date. After the first date, they never looked back!
Carly & Brendan live in Bowen just North of Airlie Beach, they knew that there was no place they would rather be on their wedding day. Unfortunately mother nature had another day in mind for them. Cyclone Debbie tore through the Whitsundays in 2017 leaving the area completely devastated. Setting the couple back to where they started with their venues.
